Drink when thirsty  Listen to your body's signals and drink when you feel thirsty. Avoid excessive water intake when not needed.

Sip, don't gulp Drink water in small sips rather than large gulps to aid digestion and absorption.

Room temperature Ayurveda suggests drinking water at or close to room temperature. Avoid extremely cold or hot water, as it can disrupt your digestive balance.

Pure water Use clean, pure water free from contaminants. Filtered or boiled water is recommended.

Avoid with meals Ayurveda advises against drinking water during meals as it may dilute digestive juices. Consume small sips if necessary.

Wait after meals Wait at least 30 minutes after eating before drinking water to allow your body to digest food properly.

Morning ritual Start your day with a glass of warm water with lemon to stimulate digestion and cleanse the body.

Respect individual needs  Ayurveda recognizes that water needs vary among individuals. Adjust your intake based on your  unique constitution and environmental conditions.
