Choose a Tree Decide between a real or artificial tree and pick a size that fits your space.

Gather Supplies  Collect lights, ornaments, garlands, tree topper, ribbons, and any other decorations you'd like to use.

Fluff the Branches If it's an artificial tree, fluff out the branches to make it look full and natural.

Add Lights Start from the base and work your way up, stringing lights evenly around the tree, ensuring they're distributed well.

Put on Garlands  Drape garlands around the tree, spacing them out nicely to add depth and texture.

Hang Ornaments Hang larger ornaments first, evenly spaced around the tree. Then, fill in with smaller ones, distributing colors and shapes.

Tree Topper Place the tree topper  at the crown of the tree.  It could be a star, angel, bow, or any other decoration you prefer.

Ribbons or Tinsel  If using ribbons or tinsel, weave them in and out of the branches for an extra decorative touch.

Step Back and Adjust  Take a step back to assess and make any necessary adjustments for balance and symmetry.

Tree Skirt  Finally, place a tree skirt or decorative cloth around the base to complete the look.
