Ostrich (Struthio camelus) The ostrich is the largest bird in the world, with males standing around 8 to 9 feet (2.5 to 2.7 meters) tall and weighing up to 350 pounds (160 kilograms).

Great Bustard (Otis tarda) This species is found in parts  of Europe and Asia. Males can weigh up to 35 pounds (16 kilograms) and have a wingspan of around 8.5 feet (2.6 meters).

Sarus Crane  (Antigone antigone) The sarus crane is a large crane species found in South Asia. They can reach heights of up  to 6 feet (1.8 meters) and have a wingspan of about 8.2 to 8.9 feet (2.5 to 2.7 meters).

Andean Condor  (Vultur gryphus) The Andean condor is one of the largest flying birds, found  in the Andes Mountains of South America. They can have  a wingspan of up to 10.5 feet (3.2 meters).

Dalmatian Pelican  (Pelecanus crispus)  This species of pelican is one  of the largest water birds.  They can have a wingspan of  up to 11.5 feet (3.5 meters).

Greater Adjutant  (Leptoptilos dubius)  This stork species, found in South and Southeast Asia, can stand up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall with a wingspan of about 8 feet (2.4 meters).

Royal Albatross  (Diomedea epomophora) The royal albatross is a seabird with the largest wingspan of any living bird, reaching up to 11.4 feet (3.5 meters).
