Harpy Eagle The harpy eagle is one  of the largest and most powerful eagles in the world. It is known for its striking appearance and powerful hunting abilities. Harpy eagles are rare and threatened due to habitat  loss and hunting.

Araripe Manakin This small, vibrantly  colored bird is endemic  to a very limited area in northeastern Brazil. Deforestation and habitat fragmentation have put this species at risk of extinction.

Kakapo While the kakapo is native to New Zealand, it's important to mention it due to its critically endangered status and the efforts to reintroduce it to protected areas within the Amazon Rainforest.

Black faced Hawk The black-faced hawk  is a rare raptor found in  the Amazon Rainforest.  It has a distinctive black  face and a broad distribution, though its numbers are declining due to habitat loss and human activities.

Brazilian Merganser The Brazilian merganser  is a critically endangered waterfowl species native  to Brazil. Its population is declining due to habitat destruction, pollution,  and disturbance.

Chestnut bellied Guan This guan is a rare bird species found in the Amazon Rainforest. It has a limited distribution and is threatened by habitat loss and hunting.

Red Siskin The red siskin is a small, colorful bird with striking red plumage. It's classified as endangered due to habitat loss and illegal trapping for the pet trade.
